An experiment on the effectiveness of creativity enhancing decision-making support systems

Recent research suggests that creativity can enhance the performance of people for a variety of tasks, including decisionmaking. Creativity enhancements can be delivered through a decision-making support system. In theory, such delivery should improve the decision performance of the system's user. This paper tests the theory empirically and discusses the implications for decision-making.
